Every year in Alaska the chinooks take part in High Altitude Rescue Training (HART). So for a couple of weeks they spend time flying around the mountain, practicing rescues and installing the base camps for the climbers. It's the highlight of their year. This year was Abrahm's second time doing it. They missed last year because he was in Iraq. I am so jealous!

High Base Camp (14,500 feet) The small dot you see about the middle and off to the right a little is a chinook resting at high base camp. Just gives you some perspective as to how big the mountain really is

Those beautiful evergreen trees again. 

The Chena River. You can see the tracks across it. Those are from snow machines. When the ice is totally frozen people use the rivers as roads.
